Application of this treatment technology in oil fields

Abstract

Petroleum development is a strategic task of the country. At present, most of the oil production in the oil fields in eastern my country is in the middle and late stages of exploitation. Improving oil recovery and increasing production are the keys to realizing this strategy. To this end, in the third cooperation agreement in 1986, the Chinese Academy of Sciences and China National Petroleum Corporation signed the key project of "Research on the Application of Magnetic Treatment Technology in Oilfields". This project is jointly undertaken by the Institute of Metallurgy, the Institute of Chemistry, the Institute of Physics and the Daqing Petroleum Administration Bureau. It combines the advantages of our institute's applied basic research with on-site applications in Daqing Oilfield to conduct a systematic and comprehensive study on the application of magnetic treatment technology in the oilfield. After eight years of hard work, the task was successfully completed, the research results were directly applied to production practice, and significant economic and social benefits were achieved.
